The tour provided so much extra information which we have used in the refinement off the planning for our first tour to Canberra. For example we have scheduled ‘recharge time’ at the Arboretum and Botanic Gardens after we realised the tiring effect participating in a number of excursions in a day could have on 11 year old students. We have also booked a second quick visit to the War Memorial on our last day to attend the wreath laying ceremony before we fly home to Perth.  Being able to meet with other teachers who have travelled with school groups before was invaluable to hear of good accommodation venues and extra activities which were worthwhile participating in. The tour was well executed, the food divine and NCETP provided a wealth of valuable information. Wanneroo Primary School WA
